Here at Rise and Shine Retrievers we don't allow our dogs to sleep on the couch during the off sesaon.  There is no off season here.  We train year round as weather permits and run as many events as time and money permits. 

Over the years we have passed tests in 8 different states, at 15 different retriever clubs, from all 3 testing organizations, as well as the Amer. Chessie Club WD/WDX/WDQ.  Under experienced judges from 14 different states and Canada.
