About Us
Welcome to Rise and Shine Retrievers. We are a small retriever kennel locacted in Loudon, NH. We strive to produce good looking, hard driving Labrador and Chesapeake Bay Retrievers with excellent temperament and a desire to hunt.
You won't find any brood bitches here. All of our dogs hunt upland and waterfowl and run hunt tests during the spring/summer. We are hunters first and foremost.
Hardcore Waterfowlers!
Running UKC HRC events, and the occasional NAHRA or AKC hunt test (former NAHRA & UKC/HRC judge), allow us to take the dogs "hunting" year round. All of our dogs are trained by me, without using an E-collar. Our hunt test titled dogs actually go hunting! After training our own upland and waterfowl dogs for 20+ years, we are now offering our knowledge, equipment and training grounds to the public at a reasonable price. Give us a call for prices and ask about joining one of our training groups.
All of our dogs are also house pets and part of the family. There are no kennel runs full of dogs here. Our puppies are raised in the home and go to their new family well socialized as a result. Every pup goes to their new home with a written guarantee on hips/elbows (OFA) and on their eyes (CERF).
